BrightSpark

  1. Place the fireworks on a level, firm surface, paying attention to the individual safety instructions for each firework ensuring they cannot fall over. Place the fireworks in an arc.
  2. Separate the E-Fuse clips ensuring you leave 5-10cm at the end of the cable intact. IMPORTANT: make sure the cable can reach each of the fireworks BEFORE attaching the clip.
  3. Attach clip number l to the first firework to be ignited. Repeat procedure for clips 2-5 ensuring the cable is long enough to reach each firework. Do not move fireworks or pull cable once connected as this can break the wire inside the clip.
  4. On the BrightSpark receiver lift the hinged pressure switch identified by the Bright-Spark logo. IMPORTANT: Ensure receiver is off with no indicator lights showing (See Paragraph 6).
  5. Insert the cable PRINTED SIDE UP fully into the slot. Close the pressure switch fully to make connection.
  6. Place the receiver on the ground to face firing position. Press black power switch once to Illuminate the red and green indicator lights. Move to your safe firing position up to 36 metres.
  7. After 12 seconds the indicator lights will flash, indicating that the system is ready to fire.
  8. Pull the protective strip upward to activate battery.
  9. Point the transmitter at the receiver with the red button foremost.
  10. Press GREEN button ONCE for 1 second to ignite the first firework. Inner light will illuminate to indicate an effective transmission. Press the fire button ONCE only for each subsequent ignition 2-5. NOTE: The fireworks you purchase may have differing fuse lengths which may vary the ignition sequence if the firing button is pressed at 1 second intervals.
  11. Press the RED stop button at any time to cancel further ignitions. Inner light will illuminate to indicate an effective transmission. To restart press black power switch twice then repeat from Paragraph 7. For example, if the cancel operation took place after two ignitions, it would be necessary to press the fire button three times to commence re-ignition.
  12. When all clips have fired the receiver will switch to standby with only the red power indicator remaining on. To proceed with your next ignitions switch off receiver and repeat as above.

    Transmitter Battery Replacement

Normally the transmitter can work for more than 1000 ignitions. To change the battery, please follow the instructions below.
  13. Using a flat screwdriver, insert it into the side of the transmitter as shown and gently open the transmitter.
  14. Change the button battery on the circuit board with a new lithium CR2032 battery, paying close attention to ensure the correct polarity (note the position of the + sign on the old battery before removing). Carefully replace the cover and check the buttons can operate correctly.

Note
It is not advisable to use the system in daylight as sunlight can affect the range of the transmitter.

DO NOT connect the e-fuse cable to the Receiver until you have positioned and connected the e-fuses to the fireworks. Also ensure that the receiver is switched off BEFORE connecting the e-fuse cable.

DO NOT move the firework or pull the e-fuse once it is connected.

E-fuses can only be used once. Additional fuses can be purchased from your local.
